Grant Progress and Final Report Formats

In an effort to make it easier for grantees to access and submit progress and final reports, they are now available on line. You can download and submit them at your convenience. A new mailbox has been established that will allow both our Colorado Grantmaking Deptartment and our Virginia Native Asset Research Center to access the submitted reports. Please submit your completed reports to reports@firstnations.org. Please click on the appropriate link below. If you have any questions, contact Tina Farrenkopf at 303.774.7836 or e-mail her at tfarrenkopf@firstnations.org

Monitoring and data collection is a key component of First Nations’ Grantmaking and Evaluation process because it enables us to learn from each grantee, and in turn, share the learning for the benefit of Native communities at large.

In order to better assess the implementation of all of our grantee programs, as well as to further our understanding, First Nations would like you to utilize these report formats when submitting your progress and final reports. Please complete the report template as thoroughly as possible.

Interim Progress Report due dates are specified in your Grant Award/Terms and Conditions letters, as are the Final Report due dates. Final reports are normally due within 30 days of the close of the grant period. If you anticipate difficulty in getting a report submitted by the indicated deadline, please contact your program officer to discuss the matter. In most cases, an extension can be granted. However, grantees need to inform their program officer directly to do so. When possible, please do so before the report is actually due.
