Registration Now Open for Second Webinar

Registration Now Open for ‘First Nations Knowledge’ Webinar #2

Our new series of free educational webinars – called “First Nations Knowledge” – successfully began February 21 with a great turnout.  The series aims to educate Native community members involved in food systems and agricultural work, plus Native nonprofit organizations, with the ultimate goal of building business and organizational capacity.

The second webinar in the series in now open for registration. It’s part two of the first webinar and is called “Business of Indian Agriculture – Best Financial Practices for Small Agribusiness II.”  Attendance at the first webinar is not a requirement to attend this one. John Phillips, executive director of First American Land-grant Consortium (FALCON) and program and policy consultant for American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC), will lead the this instructional webinar.

The webinar will take place on March 21, 2013, at 12 p.m. Mountain Time. To register for this webinar, please click here: Best Financial Practices for Small Agribusiness II. Space is limited, so please register only if you are able to attend the webinar. If you are unable to attend the webinar live, each one will be recorded and available on our website.
