Chandra Hampson

Member of The Board
(Winnebago/White Earth Chippewa)

Chandra Hampson is senior lender, vice president and director of the Indian Country Initiative at ShoreBank Enterprise Cascadia (SBEC), a community development financial institution operating primarily in Oregon and Washington. Through October 2006, Mrs. Hampson was vice president, Pacific Northwest relationship manager for Native American Banking Services at Wells Fargo. She joined Wells Fargo after receiving her MBA from the University of Washington in 2000. Prior to her current position, Mrs. Hampson had a career in nonprofit management including urban American Indian community development, continuing education, and foundation development.

Mrs. Hampson received her bachelor's degree in studio art from Stanford University, where she was active in the Stanford American Indian program. She grew up primarily in northeastern Oregon, but also lived in Winnebago, Nebraska and Italy. Mrs. Hampson is married with two children, Josephine and Mila.
