Senior Administrative Assistant to Development & Communications

Debbie Derryberry joined the First Nations team in December 2008 as a senior administrative support specialist. In her role, Debbie provides advanced administrative support for both the president and vice president. Specifically, she focuses on direct marketing fundraising, foundation and corporate relationship building, and strategic communications.

Prior to joining First Nations, Debbie worked for the American Indian College Fund (the Fund) for five years. During her time at the Fund, she worked extensively with the donor/fundraising database. Debbie also worked in the individual giving department providing administrative support to the director of individual giving and managing the monthly donor program. She lives in Arvada, Colorado with her husband Mark. They have one daughter, Amber, who recently graduated from Metropolitan State College with a degree in psychology.
