Melanie Archuleta

Melanie Archuleta
Administrative Assistant
Kaibab Paiute

Melanie is an enrolled member of the Kaibab Paiute tribe. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where she and her daughter, Elyse, reside. She is working toward a bachelor’s degree in anthropology as a part-time student at the University of Colorado-Denver, with plans to complete her degree in 2015.

Her previous work with Warren Village allowed her to use her public speaking skills to communicate to donors the importance of voting and communal contributions. She also acquired numerous other organizational and management skills through workshops and her ongoing work experiences, both with Warren Village and the Council of Energy Resource Tribes (CERT). Melanie believes good customer service is a key factor in any successful business or organization.

Community is highly important to Melanie.  She believes that the cultural aspects of a community are what allow growth, whether in a diverse city or in a reservation community.
