Sarah Hernandez

Program Coordinator
(Rosebud Sioux)

Sarah Hernandez joined First Nations in 2012 as a program coordinator for First Nations’ research, policy and asset-building department. Prior to joining First Nations, Sarah served as an Education Coordinator at the Native American Finance Officer (NAFOA) in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Education Coordinator, Sarah managed education and scholarship programs intended to increase the number of Native American students entering the fields of business and finance. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in English, and is currently a doctoral student in the Department of English at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Sarah is an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and resides in Thornton, Colorado.
