First Nations Development Institute participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Through the CFC, as well as state and local campaigns, government workers support the work of The First Nations Development Institute through payroll deductions.
Pledges made during the annual campaign season (September 1 to December 15) will help us fund our programs to enable us to continually meet the needs of the Native American population.
The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
To request a CFC Charity List and/or a CFC pledge form, please contact your local CFC office. Our Campaign Locator will assist you in identifying the CFC office where your official duty station is located.
CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. The Director of OPM has designated responsibility for day-to-day management of the CFC to its CFC Operations office.
GoodSearch.com and GoodShop.com
GoodSearch is a search engine which donates 50 percent of its sponsored search revenue to the charities and schools designated by its users. You use GoodSearch exactly as you would any other search engine. Because it's powered by Yahoo!, you get proven search results.
The money GoodSearch donates to your cause comes from its advertisers - the users and the organizations do not spend a dime!
In 2007, GoodSearch was expanded to include GoodShop, an online shopping mall of world-class merchants dedicated to helping fund worthy causes across the country. Each purchase made via the GoodShop mall results in a donation to the user's designated charity or school - averaging approximately 3% of the sale, but going up to 20% or even more.

You can also support First Nations Development Institute by creating your own online charity registry. In addition to a traditional gift registry, guests can make donations in your name as their wedding gift to you.

JustGive provides engaged couples with the opportunity to create a unique and meaningful gift registry. Used alone or in addition to traditional gift registries, couples can create a customized Web page that encourages contributions to their favorite charities.

From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts, the I Do Foundation allows couples and their guests to make wedding-related purchases that generate donations for charity.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Want to increase your contribution to First Nations Development Institute? Ask your employer about corporate matching gifts.
Many corporations have matching gift programs and will match your donation to a charitable organization. It's an easy way to double or even triple the impact of your personal contribution to First Nations Development Institute.
How to make a matching gift:
Consult your human resources department to find out whether your company has a matching gift policy. If it does, your employer can provide a form for you to fill out and send to us with your donation. We will verify your gift and return the form to your company, which will then issue a matching gift contribution directly to First Nations Development Institute. It's that easy.
Please send all gifts and forms to:
First Nations Development Institute
