In this new report published by the International Society for Third-Sector Research, First Nations’ Raymond Foxworth, Ph.D., joins co-author Cheryl Ellenwood, Ph.D., in exploring the current state of third sector research relating to Indigenous peoples.

They describe the significant issues surrounding how third sector research conceptualizes Indigenous peoples, and they introduce Indigenous data sovereignty as a means of supporting more equitable research practices to advance research with and for — and not on —Indigenous communities.
