First Nations launched its Native Youth and Culture Fund in 2002 with generous funding provided by the Kalliopeia Foundation. This previously-private report relates to the first round of grantees under the project, between 2002 and 2004, and it includes project profiles, program outcomes, accomplishments and lessons learned. We are publically posting it now in 2017 because the information in it is of continuing value to today’s Native youth and culture projects across Indian Country.
