Event Overview

Stewarding land and water; passing down arts, language, and stories; sustaining traditional foods and Native nourishment: these practices carry the knowledge that has sustained Native communities for centuries. This knowledge – a source of strength and identity – will carry us long into the future.  

Native youth are a bridge – a pathway for cultural stories, traditions, and values. This inaugural convening brings us together in service to our future culture bearers, decision makers, and leaders to move traditions and knowledge across generational lines.   

This invite-only convening, will center co-learning for tribal and Native-led organization representatives  from our California Tribal Fund , Native Arts, Language, and Knowledge , and Stewarding Native Lands  programs to engage in trainings; share ideas and work; and network to support the staff that are stewarding our communities’ future culture bearers, decision makers, and leaders!
