The purpose of this project is to build TLC's capacity to engage with USFS funding opportunities and programs as the co-manager of the Redbox Ranger Station, the only Tribal co-managed site with the USFS in the region, advancing Tribal stewardship and fire-resilient land management.

This project will build tribal capacity and support tribal leadership efforts in cross-agency management of native habitats and culturally important natural resources on reservation and adjacent U.S. Forest Service Lands.

Funding is provided to support Hui Makaaina O Makana's 2026 'Aina Momona Festival.

This project will support a kitchen area for the Kashia Roundhouse. The Kashia Roundhouse is a vital cultural and spiritual site for the Kashia Band of Pomo Indians located on the Stewarts Point Rancheria.

We work with Indigenous Nations, communities, and organizations globally in our struggle for sovereignty, human rights, and social justice for our peoples, while remaining committed to our original instructions, to preserve Indigenous traditions for the seventh generation yet to come.

This project enhances Tribal capacity to participate in two large-scale planning processes that impact Maidu ancestral waterways and surrounding landscapes, supporting tribal sovereignty and meaningful participation in decision-making about control and management of natural and cultural resources.

This project seeks to enhance the capacity of the Yurok Tribe to steward lands and waters within the Yurok Reservation and Ancestral Territory that come under Yurok ownership, creating a culturally responsive model for traditional land stewardship.

This project will serve as pilot project to develop Tribal staff ability through speciality trainings and collaborations to increase the use of TEK on Tribal lands. This pilot project will collect baseline data across Tribal lands, identify restoration needs, and continue the use of cultural fire.

Roots and Relations restores community capacity to care for the land as we revitalize an underutilized baseball field into a cultural gathering place, home to the riparian habitat and culturally traditional plants necessary for our heritage and the land to thrive.

Returning to Pimu and the Bay: Gabrieleno‑Tongva Marine Stewardship and Monitoring Program will build Tongva-led capacity to access, study, and care for Santa Monica Bay and the Channel Islands through culturally grounded environmental engagement, monitoring, and youth leadership development.
