First Nations end-of-year fundraising campaign is going on now!
The campaign underscores a saying that comes from communities in the Pacific Northwest: “When the Tide Is Out, the Table Is Set.”
It means that low tide is a time to harvest the ocean’s plenty. It recognizes that the food and resources Native communities need are already available if we know where and when to look.
Funds raised through the “When the Tide Is Out, the Table Is Set” campaign will go to support First Nations’ community partners who are advancing food security as part of First Nations’ Native Agriculture and Food Systems Investments program.
All contributions made through December 31, 2026, will go toward this campaign. Moreover, thanks to generous donors, every gift will be matched, dollar for dollar, until we reach our goal of $500,000.
When the Tide Is Out, The Table Is Set: A Native Food Security Webinar
