LEAF will be better prepared to leverage our current assets and create an improved facility, thus resulting in more effective programs and opportunities our tribal community members.

2017 Collections Management for Community Engagement
This project will preserve a Native art collection to benefit Native artists by increasing their accessibility to art examples for research and professional development. This project will expand the skills and understanding of art forms for Native artists, and foster a respect for Native art throughout the broader community.

The purpose of the LEAF Board Retreat for Planning, Growth, and Expansion project is to retain the creativity and vision of the Founding Board while simultaneously creating a governing entity that is resolute in their commitment to growth and stability of the organization. The momentum generated by each of the components of this project will assist the Board as they utilize their position to increase their participation in the areas of fundraising and membership, and to identify and commit to ways in which he/she will cultivate and strengthen the organization through their commitment to the strategic plan.

2015 Cultural Tourism: A Bridge Toward Sustaining Native Art and Culture
The ultimate purpose is to 1) retain the respect and value for Wisconsin Native arts and culture, i.e. Ho-chunk people and other Wisconsin tribes; 2) increase the scope and participation of Native artists within area, and 3) to build, cultivate, and maintain a model that can be shared with other Native communities. Ideally the project's self assessment summary will help to leverage LEAF's current success in the area of community building through the arts and related public programs with the need to build a solid infrastructure and secure the necessary funding to sustain a healthy and vibrant Native arts organization.
