Resources for allies, neighbors, and teachers

Native American Heritage Month 2019

Every day is a good day to learn about Native People, communities, and issues. But this is especially true during Native American Heritage Month. During this month, we invite allies to learn more about the contributions of Native people to American society  and learn from the following resources largely produced (or entirely produced) by and for Native people.

Please utilize these key printables, reading lists, and stories of success this Native American Heritage Month and any time Native perspectives are considered. We encourage everyone to use these tools in their communities or as lesson plans in the classroom to nurture a deeper understanding of your Native and Indigenous neighbors.
