Description

1) to develop a program which will reawaken and create a written guide to help retain our Master-Carver Apprenticeship Program including Haida Language and re-institutionalize the programs into the Hydaburg City School System as a class (Haida Art and Language which were cut ten years ago) 2) teach the cultural skills which will promote, preserve and perpetuate our rich cultural legacy and leverage our existing volunteer-only program by collaborating with the school to access teachers to provide assistance to develop and implement professional cultural learning materials. This allows the XKKF to focus on on-going fundraising goals (language and canoe trips).
