Outcomes Under the Nourishing Native Children: Feeding Our Future Project

The Walmart Foundation and First Nations Development Institute created the Nourishing Native Children: Feeding Our Future Project to support 10 Native American community-based children’s feeding programs and to learn from the overall field. This infusion of funding had exponential results, in terms of numbers of children served, partnerships created, and community support stimulated. This report highlights the grantees’ models as well as the learnings from the grantees and others about their best practices, issues encountered, and recommendations for community, tribal and systems efforts.
