Stewarding Native Lands Senior Program Officer

The Senior Program Officer is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of multi-year, complex projects. This position will often direct the efforts of program officers and program associates on various aspects of projects. This position is also responsible for the management and supervision of direct reports (e.g., consultants, grantees, and fellows), providing direction, setting goals, giving feedback, employee coaching, and ensuring professional development and training.

Native Agriculture and Food Systems Investments Program Associate

The Program Associate is an entry-level position at First Nations and plays an integral role in supporting the Native Agriculture and Food Systems Investments program staff in the administration and implementation of projects. These responsibilities may include coordination of internal and external virtual meetings, participation in site visits or convenings, grantee and consultant communications, participation in internal grant reviews, developing consultant agreements, coordinating travel arrangements, updating meeting notes, performing data entry in Airtable, and organizing files under the guidance of senior program staff.

Native Arts, Language, and Knowledge Senior Program Officer 

The position of the Senior Program Officer is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of one or more initiatives and projects under the Native Arts, Language, and Knowledge Program. This position’s priority initiative will be the Native Fundraisers Community of Practice, a multi-year, complex project. The Senior Program Officer will lead this initiative and direct the efforts of program officers and program associates on various aspects of the Native Fundraisers Community of Practice project by providing direction, setting goals, giving feedback, coaching, and ensuring professional development and training.
