Muscogee (Creek) Nation

This project supports Muscogee Creek Nations' initiative to protect the sacred Muscogee Creek ancestral site while raising awareness and advancing land restoration efforts, returning ancestral remains, and uplifting Indigenous sovereignty, cultural preservation, and respect for sacred places.

COVID-19 Response

The MYCAM project will create a cultural arts mentoring curriculum focused on strengthening traditional knowledge, increasing cultural participation, and building resilience and protective factors in youth. This curriculum will utilize intergenerational relationships to deepen cultural knowledge and practices for future generations.

Connect the Disconnect will create enrichment opportunities for Native youth. Throughout the program Native youth will utilize Mvskoke cultural practices to build resilience, to connect with Mvskoke elders’ knowledge and practices and to increase cultural practices among peers.

The program purpose and goal is to provide the tools, training, education and knowledge to our citizens to prevent foreclosure. This program grant will allow us to meet the program purpose of helping our citizens to achieve the goal of foreclosure prevention.
