This project will enable Pala Band of Mission Indians to increase their capacity to continue their Tribe's "Culture as Medicine for Youth" project.
This project will enable Pala Band of Luiseno Mission Indians' Cupa Cultural Center to increase their capacity to continue preserving and advancing traditional Native arts through their programming focused on supporting artists and intergenerational sharing of artistic skills and knowledge, as well as, increase the Cupa Cultural Center's organizational sustainability.

Participation in these professional development activities will increase regional awareness and methodologies which focus on traditional art forms through archival development and study of regional native traditional arts. Our department will leverage both professional networks and engagement activities to expand our outreach and to train our youth.

The Pala 'Άchivet Mimexily Arts Project is designed to increase awareness of traditional art forms found in Southern California by training American Indian youth in documentary film techniques. These students will produce a documentary that will add to preservation of traditional arts by capturing techniques before they are lost.
