Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians

This project will expand the Shingle Springs Food Sovereignty Program by increasing member access to traditional, culturally significant, and healthy foods through a farmers market and a series of traditional food classes.

This project will enable Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians to increase their capacity to continue their biological and cultural restoration of the Verona Tract, which was recently returned to the Tribe in 2020.
