This project will provide participants an opportunity to learn about themselves by being introduced to creative educational material, including stories, and historical documents, so that may learn more about themselves. The project will increase the knowledge to understand better who they are; within the context of Native to Now.

DMPW was created for our Denver school children. It increased their Native pride. Through singing, they retained our Native languages. They utilized community elders to learn the craft of making dance outfits. Through control and leverage at the dance classes, they learned how to conduct themselves in the dance arena.

This project will increase the organizational infrastructure to support the development of a health and wellness advocacy and navigation network.

This project will create a strong Native-led organization culturally focused on housing to support the stabilization and healing of Native Americans in Metro Denver. NAHC will provide affordable housing opportunities and direct services for Native Americans experiencing homelessness and housing instability in the Denver Metro area.

This project will advance health equity for Colorado Native Americans by increase access to primary health care, dental health care, behavioral health care, and overall health and wellness through mobile health events and activities that will reach throughout the state.

The program will increase self-awareness utilizing the Wellbriety model for our Native American community members in the Four Corners region and for those seeking support with substance use and recovery. The program will create relationships between organizations and Indigenous community members in order to retain cultural teachings.

The ultimate purpose of our holistic project is to create, retain, increase and leverage new and existing program efforts that are inadequately funded to provide meaningful service and support to our Native youth, elders, community members and those in crisis.

This project will increase the organizational capacity to meet DIFRC's mission.

There are two Programs that we'd like to implement utilizing this funding. The first program is to construct an outdoor pickleball court to increase outdoor recreational opportunities for Tribal Members. The second program is to create a Ute Identity Tribal Leadership Series, that will offer cultural workshops and Lessons.

This project will positively impact the long-term well-being and self-determination of Native American youth by increasing their access to Mental Health resources.
