This project project will increase knowledge about Makah art, history, culture and language. It will also improve and expand emerging artists' skills by transferring knowledge between Master artists and apprentices through 2 lectures, 3 basketry workshops and 2 Drawing and Painting Workshops.

Through our Tawokaga program, we remember, reclaim, and reconnect Dakota language and lifeways in our communities. Through apprenticeship programs, we support skill development and arts opportunities for emerging and master artists practicing traditional arts. Ultimately, our goal is to keep these cultural traditions alive for future generations.

The intent of this project is to will encourage and enhance the rich relationship between our artists and their community by expanding on a portal program that affords artisans a facility to market their work and a platform to share their expression of Hemish culture, history, and knowledge of place.

Northwest Native Development Fund hopes to create a prosperous environment for Native artists on the Colville reservation. The artists will benefit from utilizing our business strategies to increase personal financial stability. In a diminishing market we hope to retain cultural artists in our region.

The name of this project is Sxecalik, meaning "Cultural Arts Project." This Cultural Arts Project main purpose is to inspire people. We will create a Cultural Arts Project with the Muckleshoot Tribal College, Muckleshoot tribal artists, Northwest Indian College, Muckleshoot College & Career Program, and, the Muckleshoot Language Department.

This project will help retain traditional Native art forms for future generations by increasing the number of tribal youth familiar with Native art forms. This project will increase the relationships between artists and youth by utilizing and expanding on existing programming for Native artists.

This project will create a cooperative for local Native artists so they can leverage resources for maximum efficiency and profit. The project will also increase the cooperative's capacity for long-term viability by connecting with our local youth program (the Thusweca Beading & Cultural Academy) to recruit and train youth artists.

This project will create and retain increased business capacity for POP by Utilizing its natural resources and increasing its business capacity by being able to run a more efficient business. Native communities will benefit by abilities to control their own food sovereignty in controlling the foods they eat.

Over 24 months, bring together partners from Cibecue with a focus on youth ranchers to facilitate hands-on learning, environmental and modern herd, ranching, range and business practices, control cattle disease and increase profitability through modern business practices and leverage assets to market cattle to the BEST primary and secondary markets.

The purpose of the project is to utilize the knowledge of different forms of Traditional Menominee Arts and Crafts by creating a vehicle to pass knowledge on through the intergenerational model of learning and leveraging local artisans financially through the payment of honorariums. We will also promote drawing and painting.
