Before Friday: We need to hear your voice on COVID-19 and the Native nonprofit sector

Greetings community partners,

I wanted to follow up on the email we sent a few weeks ago asking our Native-led nonprofit partners to complete the COVID-19 and Native American Nonprofit Sector Survey. This survey will stay open only through Friday, June 26, and your input is needed!

It will take no more than 15 minutes to share your perspectives, knowledge and expertise about the potential impact of COVID-19 on Native communities, and all individuals who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for a $5,000 general operating grant. First Nations anticipates awarding 20 grants of $5,000 totaling $100,000.

Thank you to all who have already taken the survey.

If you haven’t, please act by this Friday. The survey can be accessed here

A reminder: All completed results will be used to compile a report for public dissemination. All individual survey responses will be confidential and no identifying organizational information will be released. First Nations hopes the results of this survey will serve as one effort to educate the broader public about the impact on the health of the Native nonprofit sector right now, and what it already means for the road ahead.

Learn more here.

Should you have any questions about the survey, please email grantmaking@firstnations.org.

Thank you for your partnership, participation and overall work in service of Native communities!

Respectfully,

First Nations Development Institute
