First Nations Director of Institutional Development Sarayl Shunkamolah (Navajo) was in Minneapolis last week, connecting with supporters and engaging with key partners in advancing Native community development. During her visit, Sarayl reconnected with past community partner American Indian Opportunities Industrialization Center, an organization committed to empowering individuals through culturally grounded education, career training, and supportive services. Sarayl met with Vice President Katie Fitzpatrick (pictured right), toured the facility, and learned more about ways to support the organization’s workshops and services for economic independence and personal growth.
