Tlingit and Haida

Sabrina Walker joined First Nations in June 2022 as a Program Associate. She is an enrolled member of the Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Tribe from Alaska. She was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska but now resides in Colorado with her family.

Sabrina has experience working with nonprofits relating to Alaska Native arts and culture as well as academia experience where she was an administrative generalist for the Alaska Native Studies program for the University of Alaska Anchorage. Sabrina has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. She will graduate with a Master’s of Legal Studies in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma in December 2022.

Sabrina enjoys spending time with her husband and son, hiking, running, and exploring new places.
