Birgil Kills Straight

Birgil Kills Straight, or “Tokala Tokeya Ku,” was born September 20, 1940, in Kyle, South Dakota, to William Kills Straight and Lucy White Lance.

For a time, Birgil served on the board of directors of First Nations Development Institute.

Birgil made his journey to the Spirit World on February 10, 2019, at his home in Kyle.
