Chandra N. Hampson has built a career at the intersection of financial services and nonprofit management, with the ultimate goal of improving access to capital and supporting private-sector development in Indian Country.  Currently operating in a volunteer capacity, Chandra was an active professional in the field through 2012.

Most recently, she was Senior Vice President and Director of the Indian Country Initiative for Craft3 (formerly ShoreBank Enterprise Cascadia), a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution. Previously, she was with Wells Fargo Bank as Bank Examiner, Private Banker, Commercial Lender and, ultimately, Relationship Manager for the Pacific Northwest Region of Native American Banking Services Division.

Chandra is also an active board member of Indian Land Capital Company, Native Arts and Cultures Foundation, and Sand Point Arts and Cultural Exchange. She also serves as PTA President for her children’s elementary school and is Secretary of the Huchoosedah Title VII Native Education Parent Advisory Committee for Seattle School District.

Prior to receiving her MBA from the University of Washington in 2000, Chandra was a nonprofit manager with community development and continuing education organizations and small family foundations. She received her B.A. in Studio Art from Stanford University in 1992.
