Chris joined First Nations in the fall of 2023. As a grantmaking associate, Chris builds on his experience in customer service and data processing to ensure accuracy and transparency in First Nations’ grantmaking processes. Before coming to First Nations, he was an accounts payable specialist for TDA Research, receiving and verifying reports, purchase orders, and invoices for appropriate documentation and payment. Before this, he served as a sales operation specialist for HealthFirst, managing large volumes of data entry.
Based in First Nations’ Longmont office, Chris lived in Seattle, Washington, for five years before moving back to Colorado in 2022. He has an eight-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier named Maggie, who loves to play in the snow in the winter and sunbathe in the summer. In his free time, Chris loves to watch movies, volunteer at animal shelters, read about all things history, and spend quality time with his dog. He is also a huge animal lover and spend lots of time going to the Denver Zoo and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
