Darrick most recently worked as an administrative support assistant for Youth Services at the Denver Public Library where he engaged and led work teams and communicated with and supported staff. This work allowed him to grow his interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, and organizing events and schedules. Darrick also has experience working as a student engagement advocate for Indian Education Title VI at Jefferson County Public Schools where he supported students. provided culturally responsive guidance, served student’s and family’s needs, and maintained case information for at-risk students.
He brings an education from Metropolitan State University in Political Science and a recent master’s degree from Arizona State University in Indigenous Education, along with knowledge in database and software, administrating documents, maintaining records, and working with diverse groups of people. In his role as Individual Giving Associate, he will largely assist and support the team in coordinating technical assistance and managing multiple projects, data entry, and coordinating individual giving donor events.
