Jona Charette

Jona Charette, Director of Individual Giving

Jona joined the resource development team in April 2015 as a development associate and was promoted to development officer in 2018. Jona was promoted to associate director of individual giving in April 2023 and to director in March 2025. She comes with a strong background in donor relations, prospect research, sponsorships, and donor database management. She most recently worked at the American Indian College Fund and held prior positions with the Northern Cheyenne Tribal Council and Tribal President. Jona also held the position of Northern Cheyenne Field Director for the American Tribal Histories Project at the Yellowstone Western Heritage Center. Jona earned associate degrees in business and office management, and an associate in arts degree from Chief Dull Knife College (Lame Deer, Montana) and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Montana State University.
