This project supports planning efforts that aim to protect Chilkat Indian Village’s traditional territory and cultural resources. This project supports the creation of a community-guided Tribal Stewardship Plan and builds capacity for pursuing U.S. Forest Service funding and agreements.

To support Chilkat Indian Village (Klukwan)'s intergovernmental advocacy and legal strategy efforts to defend our traditional territory, pursue #landback, and assert Tribal governance and protection of the Jilḵáat Aani Ka Héeni (the Chilkat Valley Watershed).
