Colfax Todds Valley Consolidated Tribe of the Colfax Rancheria and Koy’o Land Conservancy

This project will strengthen Tribal food sovereignty by collecting Elder knowledge, creating a Native Teaching Garden and hosting intertribal exchanges. It leverages cultural food assets and stewardship practices to expand access to traditional foods and improve community health on Tribal lands.

To consult with USFS on the Tahoe National Forest and El Dorado National Forest to secure funding to engage in tribal consultation and contracting.
