Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon

This project builds capacity of the confederation to restore cultural and prescribed fire for sustainable forest management. The tribal fire service will conduct research into improved soil carbon sequestration which can lead to increased water storage, nutrient availability, and site productivity.
