Pueblo de Cochiti

This project builds tribal capacity to create a biochar enterprise using mobile pyrolysis kilns to convert invasive and wildfire prone vegetation into high value soil amendments. Traditional knowledge guides feedstock selection to improve forest health and generate revenue through biochar sales.

This project will provide Pueblo de Cochiti with general operating support to increase their capacity to restore their plaza areas to traditionally appropriate weatherized structures.

Gen Ops support for Cochiti Pueblo

This project will allow for the development of a NM Public Regulatory Commission (PRC) proposal for Pueblo de Cochiti to develop, own and operate a large-scale solar facility.
