This project will enable Buffalo Nations Grasslands Alliance to increase the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe's capacity to continue work on their Tribe's carbon project and manage four University of Michigan graduate students to carry out a tribal land focused cooperative research project in partnership with First Nations.

This project will leverage elders' knowledge of medicinal plants in concert with lunar cycles, engaging four Pueblos in cultivating traditional medicine. Firsthand observations of the culturally significant "lunar standstill" at Chimney Rock Ancestral Pueblo site in Colorado will help retain knowledge of the Moon, as observed by our Pueblo ancestors.

This project will enable Kno'Qoti Native Wellness to increase their capacity to continue their Kwa Xqowa B'elith Tribal Nursery and Language.

This project will enable Sherwood Valley Rancheria to increase their capacity to continue their Sherwood Tribal Nursery work.

This project will increase tribal environmental asset control on or near Native lands.

Increase food sovereignty and access to nutritious foods by opening a Tribal Food Pantry. Operating a Tribal Food Pantry pantry will decrease dependence on off-reservation pantries and provide consistent food access to at-risk members of the community.

This project will enable Wukchumni Tribe to increase their capacity to support their Wukchumni Tribal Nursery.
