The ultimate purpose is to 1) create pilot Children's Savings Account (CSA) programs with two ONAC constituents to seed/open accounts for 80 youth to help the youth build/create a nest egg of savings, and 2) help the two constituents to leverage these pilots so they can attract their own funding, in the future, for sustainable CSA programs. Additionally, this project will help ONAC retain our relationships with our constituents (the project partners) so they continue to see ONAC as a useful partner that can help them increase their asset building programming efforts with tribal members.

The ultimate purpose is to 1) create an independent food system in which affordable and nutritious food is available to the Tribal community and, 2) to increase community resiliency through creating economic opportunities for small-scale food producers and non-food vendors to sell directly to consumers at a Community Market. On-the-job training will inspire the next generation of food activists and promote sharing through workshops that encourage cross-generational dialogue. 3) Outreach will increase environmentally responsible growing practices, stewardship of traditional, open-pollinated food varieties, seed saving and will re-vitalize traditional knowledge regarding harvesting and land care.

The purpose of the LEAF Board Retreat for Planning, Growth, and Expansion project is to retain the creativity and vision of the Founding Board while simultaneously creating a governing entity that is resolute in their commitment to growth and stability of the organization. The momentum generated by each of the components of this project will assist the Board as they utilize their position to increase their participation in the areas of fundraising and membership, and to identify and commit to ways in which he/she will cultivate and strengthen the organization through their commitment to the strategic plan.

The ultimate purpose is 1) to create and cultivate the Community youth to make connections between Native artists and priorities that include economic development, art, culture, education and 2) retain the knowledge by creating, promoting an apprentice program to build capacity and interest in Native Arts among our young artists. Furthermore, this project will help utilize, even leverage and expand existing senior master quilters; potters and cradle makers to train our youth apprentice develop and enhance their skills.

The ultimate purpose of the Acoma Learning Center Youth Language and Culture Project is to engage and involve youth in activities that promote and retain Acoma language, culture and identity. In this, the Pueblo of Acoma through the Acoma Learning Center will increase the resiliency of our Acoma youth and allows us, the Haak'u Hanu to leverage our greatest resource to create and sustain a healthy tribal community.

The ultimate purpose of this project is to create and increase new levels of understanding in the rich traditional arts of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. The artistic renewal and preservation of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa art will be utilized as a new format to teach the youth and community members the utmost importance in retaining their heritage and culture of their tribe through art. Educational materials pertaining to the project will be available to the community, as a way to keep everyone informed and involved with the mission of Turtle Mountain Tribal Arts Association.

The ultimate goal of this project is to bring back and instill Lakota cultural values for our modern day youth, and for future generations. We will be passing on the knowledge. All of these activities utilize our lakota 7 sacred values; Prayer, Respect, Caring and Compassion, Honesty and Truth, Generosity and Caring, Humility, and Wisdom. In each objective all of these traits will be taught. In the process of learning and assessment the students involved with this program will have this knowledge for future generations.

We will create a structure of collaboration and support for all First Nations' people to flourish.

The ultimate purpose is to create a program and environment that forges and fosters inter-generational transfer of existing traditional knowledge as well as modern knowledge, while retaining and revitalizing our communities expression of the Seven Anishinaabe values. This project will increase opportunity and inclination to put our values into action, heal relationships and nurture mutual respect across generations. It will create resiliency in our youth increasing their ability to make healthy choices in life.

The ultimate purpose is to 1) leverage existing capacity within the RL Entrepreneur and Ozhiitaa Asset Building Programs, to create high quality arts industry specific seminars and coaching, 2) increase access to markets for RL artists by retaining and expanding upon the momentum of past arts festivals and sales events, 3) utilize new staffing positions to develop art specific events, and 4) further develop an existing artist cooperative to provide essential business building tools, and maintain long term engagement with artists through networking and leadership roles both of which are key to the overall use and acceptance of the model.
