This project will build Kusilvak Rising's capacity to engage federal partners and pursue federal funding that supports Native leadership; climate adaptation; and sustainable stewardship of land, water, and subsistence resources in the Kusilvak region.

This project will convert a hoop house into a year-round greenhouse for the Pueblo of Zia, incorporating a horizontal hydroponic system alongside soil production to grow culturally important crops like chile, corn, squash, and herbs, supporting local food production and community food sovereignty.

To support the inaugural Northwest Coast Textile Symposium, which will bring together weavers to share knowledge and preserve Northwest Coast textile traditions."

Ukwakhwa will pilot expanded production of Haudenosaunee heirloom corn and beans to strengthen seed sovereignty, teach scalable growing methods, and increase culturally relevant food access for tribal elders through the Tribal Elder Food Box program.

Through litigation, advocacy, and communication, we partner with and supports Tribes to protect their natural and cultural resources. Together, we work to prevent harmful mines, stop destructive fossil fuel development, preserve biodiversity, and advance policies that support Tribal rights.

This project will expand culturally grounded maternal health and first foods programming for urban Native families in Detroit by increasing access to traditional food knowledge, lactation support, and Indigenous parenting practices.

This project will restore wetland ecosystems while expanding community understanding of the role beavers play in watershed health. This project will also improve water quality and increase water retention on the landscape, and address landowner concerns about coexistence-based beaver management.

This project strengthens governance of food systems on the Navajo Nation by supporting Diné women ranchers as decision-makers in land, livestock, and food policy. Through strategic convenings, participants will position women's leadership within tribal food governance structures.

The 7 Generation Survey will be conducted in 15 communities to expand the circle of people supporting tribe/community groups initiatives and participating in civic engagement. The survey is an organizing tool to strengthen the impact of tribes/groups’ ongoing organizing of community care and safety.

This project will restore healthy watershed function, reduce human–wildlife conflict, and strengthen ecological resilience across the Blackfeet Reservation. The project uses beavers as a natural tool for habitat restoration while balancing the need for landowners and elders.
