This project will support community education to oppose helium extraction, a hydrogen pipeline, and other resource extraction negatively impacting communities on the Navajo reservation.

The Poeh Cultural Center is a gathering place for the respectful sustaining of Tewa traditions through being, doing and sharing. Their tour for the 2026 Luce Fellows offered First Nations and the Native Knowledge Holders that we support an opportunity to learn about Tewa cultures and lands.

This project supports community education, relationship-building, and advocacy to ensure Native voices in New Mexico are represented in decision-making around tritium venting, groundwater contamination, and increasing industrial development that threatens community and environmental health.

General operating support for the Kupa Song & Dance Group, which preserves and shares Cupeño language, culture, history, and traditions through song and dance.

Support for the 2027 gathering of the California Indian Basketweavers Association, bringing Native basketweavers together to share traditional basketry knowledge, techniques, materials, and cultural practices.

This project will the support the commission to complete pilot studies and deliver the ongoing measurement, reporting, and verification needed for a biodiversity credit pathway.

This project will strengthen Menominee-led stewardship of land, water, forest, and wildlife, including buffalo relatives, through traditional knowledge. This project will support research, habitat restoration, and youth engagement that ultimately advances climate adaptation and cultural health.

This project will create a strategy that reflects traditional values and concepts to advance BCC's goal to become a net zero campus and strengthen institutional capacity. This project will also restore Iinii (bison) and native grasslands while integrating Piikani Knowledge into workforce training.

This project will support the expansion of WRTBI's Science Department to enhance capacity to monitor increases in biodiversity within buffalo habitats.

This project will ensure southeast Alaska Tribes are able to participate in and influence the environmental assessment processes for several proposed mines. This project will organize tribal professionals culturally connected to each watershed to coordinate a response to the consultation request.
