This project will advance buffalo restoration on tribal lands by building the Fort Belknap Buffalo program capacity and creating opportunities for youth to participate in summer reseeding and fencing projects.

This project will provide Tribes, Tribal members, and Native-led organizations with information about what and why the Northwest Forest Plan amendment process impacts their interests and ways to influence the outcome in positive ways.

This grant will support planning and permitting for restoration projects on the Feather Falls Tribal Cultural Landscape.

The Salish Immersion Language Nest Development Project will establish a Salish immersion language nest at Salish School of Spokane serving families with children aged 1 to 3 years with inter-generational, culture-based care, education, and support services.

The Maidu Summit Consortium’s (MSC) Benner Creek Restoration Project leverages relationships with governmental and private stakeholders to create and begin implementing a post-wildfire land rehabilitation plan. This co-managed stewardship process will be Maidu led, retaining Tribal sovereignty, and will marry traditional ecological knowledge and western science within Tribal value systems.

This grant will be used as general operating support, made available for organizational capacity building.

The Ho-Chunk Youth and Families Language Immersion project will create a train-the-trainer language program for Youth Services employees who will participate in, then utilize the community based, game based, language immersion community language events in ten Ho-Chunk communities, increasing the Hoocąk language proficiency for K-12 students and their families.

General support grant to support their Temalpakh Farm Education Center.

By leveraging resources to help fund one additional language teacher, we will increase the number of students served in our language immersion nest and create curriculum for current and future nest students and their families, as well as support our long-term efforts to create new Hupa language speakers and teachers.
