We want to retain the participation of the Elders that we have cultivated through our Administration for Native Americans (ANA) curriculum development grant these last two years and leverage the Elders' renewed enthusiasm for revitalizing Keres along with the guidance and ideas they already contributed through the ANA grant to increase their direct involvement with KCLC students. We are utilizing the strengths of different generations in an intergenerational approach to teach our youth our language so that they will retain it.
