This project will retain/preserve ancestral knowledge of ceremonial regalia and micaceous pottery making, by transferring knowledge from older generations to younger. During this project, ceremonial attire will be created in a series of classes, to include beading, sewing, medicine bag-making and ceremonial pottery. History, customs and protocols are also taught.

Create a supportive environment for artists by increasing access to supplies for local artists to encourage the teaching of bead work and moccasin making. While assisting our local artists and providing workshops which encourage inter-generational learning, and lastly strengthen the organizational capacity of the Museum through a strategic planning workshop.

This project will utilize our spin off groups to create an apprenticeship and mentoring program that will allow us to increase the scope and quality of our fiber arts education and outreach programs. We will leverage resources to retain ancestral Navajo textile techniques, increase knowledge and ability to teach others.

The Gathering- Tanyan Unspepi project will strengthen relationships with families and artists to begin establishing a process of gathering our cultural arts for a community archive to preserve and transmit the artistic and cultural traditions at Cansa'yapi and the Oceti Sakowin.

This project will create the opportunity for knowledge exchange between tribal community members of all ages. It will increase awareness of Native arts, further instill an interest in Luiseno arts and culture, and retain tribal values for the people. This project will legitimize further funding needs in the future.

This project will create a new program that supports Native artists and increases the intergenerational transfer of knowledge of the creation and exhibition of Native arts. It will also leverage the Native community's existing artistic knowledge to increase economic and artistic opportunities for Native artists.

The project will assist grazing permittees in the Nahata D’zill Chapter with opportunities to develop better ranch management proficiency, improve cattle health and profitability, and learn good family business management practices. It will introduce ranching to youth to promote interest in becoming a rancher.

This project project will increase knowledge about Makah art, history, culture and language. It will also improve and expand emerging artists' skills by transferring knowledge between Master artists and apprentices through 2 lectures, 3 basketry workshops and 2 Drawing and Painting Workshops.

Through our Tawokaga program, we remember, reclaim, and reconnect Dakota language and lifeways in our communities. Through apprenticeship programs, we support skill development and arts opportunities for emerging and master artists practicing traditional arts. Ultimately, our goal is to keep these cultural traditions alive for future generations.
