The ultimate purpose is to (1) utilize the Two Rivers art gallery to its full potential, providing a venue for local American Indian artists to exhibit their work and gain exposure; (2) to create opportunities for synergistic efforts by two or more agencies or organizations to work together through art; and (3) to leverage other assets and revenues to sustain the efforts of Two Rivers Gallery.

The ultimate purpose of this project is to 1. Create and design the Empowerment Center of the Regenerative Community. 2. Increase innovation and entrepreneurship among local artists through creative placemaking. 3. Utilize local artists to design essential elements of the community while increasing their professional development and capacity to run their own businesses.

The ultimate purpose of the project is to create a strong foundation for our tribal artists to become self-sustaining in their business pursuits. They will become educated by attending entrepreneurship training opportunities and gaining financial literacy and strategic marketing abilities to promote their products. We will utilize those educated skills to assist them in developing business plans to ensure economic self-sufficiency.

Gizhiigin's ultimate purpose is create a viable arts economy on the White Earth Reservations by utilizing our network of artists, consultants, other professionals and local service organizations to build the community's capacity, increasing access to arts and media for our youth, leveraging Gizhiigin's resources to establish a foothold in the arts market (market access for artists), and retaining control and advancing of our cultural interest.

The ultimate purpose of this NACBI project is to build organizational capacity to better manage the Woodland Indian Art Show and Market, as well as outreach activities, of the WIA Board and volunteers by adding a part-time director to the working team. This project will result in a more solid base of volunteers, stronger fiscal policies, more collaborations and partnerships, a sound communication plan, and additional funding resources.

The ultimate purpose of Natural Resources and Forestry is to provide and create guidance and technical assistance in the assertion and retention of Treaty and reserved right with regards to the compliance with Tribal, State and Federal Law in the protection, conservation management, and preservation of health diversity, and productivity of the Oglala Sioux Tribe's Natural and Water Resources to meet the needs of present and future generations to come. Our commitment to proper stewardships and public service is the framework within which natural resources are managed and controlled for the increased awareness of all permitting practices at Natural Resources.

Native Giving match

The purpose of our project is to determine the feasibility of developing a carbon sequestration program for Lower Brule Sioux Tribal Lands. If feasible, the Tribe will see an increase in revenue, which will in turn be utilized to promote self-sufficiency for the Department of Wildlife, Fish and Recreation and potentially the Tribe as a whole. Additionally, this project will promote environmental stewardship and enhance habitat available to fish and wildlife.
