The project will increase participation in medicinal plant garden development and asset-maintenance. By leveraging existing resources, the medicinal garden can establish a broader scope and physical environment to better sustain the on-going learning by youth in our communities, in partnership with the knowledge and wisdom of local elders.

The program cultivates deter youth in delinquent behaviors their important role in tribal society.By utilizing cultural beliefs restoring the value of initiating boys & girls into young adulthood is central to shaping their decision-making process increasing identity in a giving them leverage and skills learned to cope in a world.

This project will help to CREATE an Alaska Native Girls Network by training adolescent girls to protect their communities from environmental violence (EV) and to INCREASE participation by recruiting and training other girls throughout the state to end EV statewide and transnationally.

The purpose of Agindamaadidaa! is to develop the next generation of fluent Ojibwemowin speakers and listeners who can accurately interpret written texts and express themselves in writing.

This project will preserve and increase daily use of our in peril Ahtna Athabascan language by piloting developed Ahtna language and cultural immersion curriculum and adopted testing assessment proficiency standards in the classroom of our Ya Ne Dah Ah School for a minimum of 20 hours of instruction each week.

The project will create and develop cultural land use plans to increase plant cultivation and use. The planting, cultivating, harvesting, and use of traditional plants for cultural uses will develop a new generation of cultural practitioners in a contemporary world. It also leverages an existing volunteer cultural program.

Kūkeao Native Hawaiian Science Language Resource is a Kama'aha Education Initiative (KEI). The project goal to rediscover Hawaiian scientific terminology and concepts found in ancestral texts for use by teachers in PreK-12 Hawaiian language immersion classroom. Achieving the project goal will increase the capacity of Ka ʻUmeke Kāeo Immersion School.

25 Ohkay Owingeh Tribal youth will increase their cultural exposure through (4) workshops of six sessions each in which Elders will be utilized to teach traditional regalia making classes that educate, challenge and inspire youth to form lasting linkages to our Native culture and to participate in our cultural ceremonies.

Create a youth program that will Utilize the knowledge and skills of Elders and knowledge keepers to Increase our youth's confidence and sense of who they are, as well as Retain and integrate Nipmuc traditions and values to cultivate an awareness of individual and collective responsibilities in our youth.

Teacher Mentees will spend 1040 hours working with NPL staff and Elder Mentors. Language immersion methodology, curriculum study and development, and three intensive professional development trainings, will be utilized to increase the capacity of the NPL program and to create four new teachers to serve the on-reservation Nez Perce communities.
